Carlos,

What can I say, it was an incredible trip! We started off our first evening with Esteban and the crew at Pochos for dinner then the next day, began our fishing expedition. The first day was FANTASTIC. We Caught two marlin and 4 dorado. Aaron caught the first marlin and we have some great video of the fight - jumps, flips, everything! Then, as we were still basking in the glory of that catch and as we were setting the lines to go back out again, we got hooked up on another marlin within 15 minutes! We got our pictures and our video of the marlins before releasing them and it was truly an amazing experience! Our dorados were brought back to the restaurant for our evening dinner and prepared five different ways and as always, wonderful! The next day was another exciting day out on the boat. The crew of Outcast made such a tremendous effort to ensure we got all the fish that we could possibly get. It was a day of double digit dorados and with two people on the boat, we were hooked up at the same time, EVERY time. A special thanks to the crew of Outcast for giving us two days of great fishing. Overall, this was another great trip with Pochos Restaurant and Outcast. It's because of the service, attention to detail and great adventures that will keep us coming back for years to come. Thanks again - we are all ready looking at the calendar for the next trip and will be in touch soon! Regards, Laura and Aaron p.s. I've attached some pictures for your website and/or Pochos restaurant walls.... Please forward onto Gustavo and Esteban as we were talking about these all weekend long!

Sincerely,

Laura & Aaron

Buenos Dias Carlos!

I wanted to thank you for making arrangements for us to fish in Cabo this week with Manuel on the Bad Market and on such short notice. We had a fantastic trip with some of the best wide open dorado fishing both in terms of quantity and quality that I have seen in a long time.

Michael at your restaurant likewise served us a first class meal made from our fish on Monday evening. The sashimi and ceviche were out of this world, but when the cooked fish, especially the Shitake Mushroom variety came out, we all agreed it was the best fish we had ever had.

My wife Michelle and I finally stepped up this trip and purchased a time share at Villa Del Arco (The new development at Villa Del Palmar) which means we get to spend more time in Cabo now. Yeah!

Thanks also for setting up Roland Martinez on Outcast. They had a great day with a blue marlin and 30 quality dorado! Roland commented it was the best day of fishing he has ever had and remarkably, this was his first dodo.

Best of luck in the upcoming tournaments.

Carlos,

I wanted to let you know that my most recent fishing trip with Pochos was
awesome.  I have been fishing with Pochos for the last three years, and
this year was even better than those previously.  My compliments again to
Gustavo.  He always makes me feel welcome, remembers me and takes care of
everything.  This year he went out of his way to make me feel like an old
friend and picked me up at my Hotel, it was unexpected and very much
appreciated.
We fished on the Outcast in September 07 and had the most successful
fishing trip I have ever had.  We caught seven Striped Marlin and one
Dorado.  The captain and crew; Jesus, Adres and Jose were awesome.  They
were like a well-oiled machine. They kept their composure and helped us
amidst all of the excitement.
Lastly, I enjoyed finally meeting you at the sportsman show in Denver last
January. Your fishing fleet is in good hands, and am looking forward many
more trips on the water in Cabo fishing with Pochos.

Carlos,
Me and my 4 friends fished on the Outcast last week and had a terrific time. Gustavo made sure everything was ready to go for our trip. Our captain and crew, Jose Andres and Juan were the best crew I have ever fished with. I have probably been on 20 or 30 different boats over the years, and these guys were BY FAR superior to all of the rest. We had 3 beginners and 2 seasoned fishermen, and ALL of us caught stripped marlin. It was the best day of ocean fishing I have ever had. When I get back to Cabo, I will make sure I fish with my friends at Pochos, and if I am really lucky I will get my same crew! Muchas gracias!

Carlos,

As you know I have been fishing the east cape for many years, had some great days fishing but nothing like my first day on the Outcast, I caught the biggest fish of my life the captain and deck hand "Jesus and Jose" did everything RIGHT and was able to land the big fish and most of all release it unharmed to fight another day. I can not say enough about how professional your your whole staff was from the moment we landed to the time we had to come back. Your manager Gustavo made sure everything was set for us every morning, the boats were ready "sometimes before we were" and he waited to make sure we made it off. He helped make this trip a success for all of us. Now for the Restaurant, YOU did tell me the food was good but it was even better than you said it was, they prepared our catch for dinner and i can honestly say it was the best i have ever had, and with the great service and view of the harbor we could not have asked for more. Thank you and all of your staff for making it a trip to remember Marlin Gohn
PS we will be back

Hey Carlos,

The fishing trip was great! The service was excellent. We paid $650.00 a day,
and caught 12 Marlin and 1 Bonita in 3 days. We made sure to tip at least 20%-30% due to the incredible amount of fish we caught. The T-Shirts would be great, we tried to buy them at the restaurant but they only had tank tops. (XXL and a X-Large)

Thanks! I got some great photo's attached is one of the action shots.

Carlos,

My compliments to the crew of the Bad Market for my charter two Thursdays ago as they worked hard to raise the one marlin we released under difficult fishing.  The captain and mate were very courteous and experienced and the captain was abt the best I've encountered on backing down on a fish.  My only ciriticism would be to bring a couple dead rigged baits (ballyhoo or mackeral) along.

I liked the boat a lot and a friend of mine is looking for a flybridge boat.  What is the exact model number and year of that Silverton that was the Bad Market??  Thanks again and I will call to recharter the next time I am in Cabo.

                                                           Sincerely, Brian Melley

Dear Carlos,

I wanted to take a moment to brag a bit about what an AMAZING EXPERIENCE we had with "Bad Market" on the 24th of December!  My sister, Brother-in-law, nephew and I had the privilege of spending the day with your crew and it was by far the most phenomenal fishing trip that any of us has ever had!  Well, except for my poor nephew, he was boat-sick the entire day, but that didn't stop the 3 of us! It all began with the first class treatment that we received from Gustavo.  He really went out of his way to ensure that everything was absolutely PERFECT for us!  I would consider myself a very lucky person to have someone like him to work with!  He is an absolute asset to your operations and truly a remarkable representative for your company!  I look forward to the next time that we are in Cabo, and are able to book our trip with him! Then, of course, there is your friendly crew aboard "Bad Market" that day, Jose' & Jose' Maria, they are SO knowledgeable about fishing, we were all AMAZED!  They worked VERY hard to ensure that our experience was unsurpassed by any other!  Somehow, they have an absolute 'knack' for finding the Striped Marlin, constantly changing the bait and chasing down the fish, it was non-stop action the whole time!  The Marlin were absolutely EVERYWHERE that day!  So many, that we couldn't even count!  Your crew knew exactly where to be at all times to catch them.  Constantly on the move, they made it seem as though we were right in the middle of a school of Marlin the entire time!  It was SO AMAZING that even if we hadn't caught a single one, it was worth every second!  It turns out though that the 3 of us did indeed catch 'some' - 7 to be exact, plus 2 that broke the line.  All in all, a very respectable catch! I have already recommended Gustavo and the crew to several people in Cabo that we met, and I know that at least 2 of them have already booked charters with them!  I will continue to recommend them to everyone I can!  They all should be commended for the outstanding treatment that we received! Thanks so much to all that helped us that day!  It was truly the best day of our entire stay in Cabo!  We cannot wait to come back!  We will never fish with anyone but Pochos ever again!

I'll be sure to send photos as soon as I get them! With our Sincerest Regards, Craig C. McNichol, Carol & Glenn Moore and Colby

Dear Carlos,

A quick note to tell you what a great time I had fishing this last trip on the "Reel Busy" with Eddie and Juan - what a great crew they are. Besides enjoying their company so much, we really had some good laughs. I caught 3 marlin the first day and 4 the second, and both days we quit early (by noon) because I didn't want to break Ernest Hemmingway's record!

I enjoyed dinner at your restaurant, and I can't say enough about the staff and your boats, as to how well they both ran.

Sincerely,
Shep McCook

Hi Carlos,

just a quick report, Our trip was a great success. The ponga you lined up was excellent. We did not catch anything that day but the skipper tried. We were impressed. The second day we fished with another ponga and caught some "shore" fish. The third day I fished on the Skirt Chaser with Jorge and Ricky. I fished alone that day. I caught one marllin. I was very impressed with both men. They worked hard to help me catch something. The fourth day we fished on the Skirt Chaser and I caught a marlin and a very large tuna. Bob caught a marlin also.

Bob's daughter is getting married at the Finisterra on January 15,2006. He will need a boat for some of the guests. I have forwarded him your address.

I might want to fish the Bisbee. Are the boats booking up fast? I would prefer the Skirt Chaser with Jorge and Ricky. I am still not sure. Also, how much are the boats for the tournament.

Thank you again Carlos. We had a great time and will recommend your boats to our friends.

Sincerely,
Guy Corrado

Subject: Congrats

Congrats on the Rolex ...You've done a great job, keeping good boats and great crews. My friend with the Bull Dorado is Steve Moe, and the jumping Striped Marlin were caught by Bob Grootwassink, Tim McGlaughlin and Steve Moe.  I'm sure you'll here from them for future trips. They were all first-timer bill fishermen, and now they're all hooked.

Subject: Great Time!

I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know what a first class experience I had while not only fishing, but dining at your local restaurant in Cabo. Your manager Gustavo Soubran was impressive and was the reason I actually chartered one of your boats. The dockside entertainment was very enjoyable, and a waiter named Jose Lopez interacted with my two boys and before I knew it, they were out front convincing the tourist to dine at your restaurant as well! It gets better for me. The following day Captain Eric took the boys and me out and I boated a 9 foot striped Marlin! After all the prep work, pics, paperwork for mounting, etc. I came back to the restaurant and had some of the best tasting (fresh) fish that I have ever had. I have the privilege of dining from New York, LA, Japan, Korea etc. My experience with your system left me with a lasting impression. I purchased a time share at the new Villa del Palmar (not built yet) just to have a place to hang my hat and see if there is any future interest in Cabo. I do a
lot of hunting a fishing each year and have worked with a number of guides and outfitters. You should be proud of your operation and the people you have chosen to represent the same. I will be back.

Regards,
John Bond

Subject: Best time fishing

Dear Carlos,
Thank you for the great time we had on our vacation earlier this month. My son and nephew and I had one of the best times we've ever had fishing. The skipper and deckhand, Ricky and Jorge (if I recall their names correctly) were real professional and a pleasure to fish with. When we got back to
the marina we took our catch that Jorge filleted and bagged up for us to your restaurant and had them cook us up about 4 pounds of mahi mahi. They put the rest of our catch in the fridge while we waited for our dinners. The staff at the restaurant were fantastic and the meal was great. If you check with your restaurant staff you'll discover we ended up eating at Pochos for the next three nights of our stay. Truly a remarkable experience. I'm already planning for the next trip and you can bet we will be fishing on the Skirt Chaser again. See you sometime in January/February.

Happy Holidays,

Subject: Great time

Hi Carlos,
We are back from our trip to Cabo and wanted to let you know what a great time we had. The fishing was a bit slow on the first day with only one small tuna boated, but the action on the second day more than made up for it. We ended up with 3 big dorado and about a dozen tuna. Manuel and Andres were a fantastic, professional crew and made us feel very relaxed on the boat. We had dinner at the restaurant on Wednesday night after our first day of fishing. I am not joking when I say that we had one of the best meals at your place during our entire stay in Cabo. The food and service were both first class! Gustavo and his team are doing a fantastic job and should be commended. In fact while we were there my wife & I would tell others cruising the strip looking for a place to eat, that they shouldn't go anywhere else but Pochos! Needless to say, both my wife & I agreed that we would return to Cabo and would definitely use your services again when we do. I would not hesitate
to recommend Pochos to anyone I know who happens to be heading out there.

Many thanks,
Chris Coelho
Subject: Great Time

Hi Carlos- Back from Cabo last night and had a great time. Gustavo and the crew on the Outcast were great! Jesus is a really good guy and unbelievable experience. I think we took care of him well as he deserved it. The Outcast is an awesome fishing machine!! Fast, comfortable, and set up extremely well. All went as planned to the smallest of detail that you arranged. Even though we didn't get any big fish, they really tried and put us in the area where the big fish were caught! (finger banks). We caught lots of small tuna, 2 Marlin and a bunch of Dorado. Dinner (our fresh fish) at Pochos was excellent as well. I told Gustavo we definitely want to book the Outcast again next year, he put it in his book but told me I should confirm with you, if you need a deposit now, no problem. Please confirm that we have the boat next WON tournament (same week). Also, I have another team (my local friends) that want to do the tourney next year so if you could let me know if any of your other boats are available, they would put down a deposit as well. Thanks for all your help my friend. This was the first year that I was not worried about getting down there to find out that we would not get what was promised. Great feeling, I think you have a first class operation and will do my best to promote Pochos! If you ever need
references, feel free to have them give me a call!

Hello Carlos, My name is John and I was in contact with you a couple weeks ago for renting a boat.  Well Gustavo helped us out and we got to fish on your boats for two days,  one day on the skirt chaser and one day on the bad market.  I just wanted to let you know that your guys down there did an awesome job and am looking forward to coming back.  Wade was definitely right recommending you guys!!!

Thanks,
John

Subject: Coming back for more fish!

Hi there. My husband and I were there last May and we had a great time on your charter! We are coming back very early October and bringing 8 additional people with us. Do you have any boats that can handle 8 - 10? Any recommendations on how to go about scheduling this?

Thanks. JoAnna and Louis Ecke (Chicago)

Subject: See you in November

Carlos,
Just a line to let you know what a wonderful time we had. The first day was not so good. The guys down there gave our boat to somebody else and the crew that took us out was a little inexperienced. They ate our lunch and could not get bait for a while, but we did catch some fish, so not all was bad. The second day we went out with Manuel and Andreas. These two guys were great!! We went with them a year ago and again they did not let us down. We caught fish until our arms ached. The young men at the restaurant were also a blast to be around. We will be back from Nov 29 thru Dec 6, 2004 and would like to book at least one day with Manuel.
Also I am trying to find the time to come down before that, maybe April or May.
Hopefully one of these trips I will get the chance to meet you.

Again Thanks,
Steve

Pocho & Company,

My brother-in-law and I were fortunate enough to spend a day on the Skirt Chaser a couple weeks back, and I just had to write to say thanks for the experience. I've fished the Florida coast several times, but this was my first experience in Cabo (and my partner's first time on a fishing boat). Gustavo and Ramon were great at making sure everything was ready to go for our trip, and the boat's crew (Jorge and Jesus) made the day perfect.

Not having much experience in Cabo, I had no idea of what to expect. After bringing in one 9-foot striped marlin and 8 nice yellow fin, I was overwhelmed. My experience usually involved spending a day cruising around the water, hoping to get a hook into something before it was time to go back. I have been on more than one trip that came back empty, and I don't recall ever bringing in more than 3 fish (for the whole boat).

There were some misunderstandings with the airlines about getting the fish back, but I was able to bring back about 30 pounds of yellow fin, and I believe my partner got about the same amount. And it's just as good to eat as it was to catch.

Thanks again for a great day of fishing. I'll be sure to recommend you to anyone heading down that way, and I can guarantee you will hear from me on my next trip.

Ed

P. S. We also stopped at the restaurant for drinks and a little bite. Best margueritas I've ever had!
